Mary & Joseph on the road going to Bethlehem.
Mary & Joseph arriving late – no room for them.
Mary was carrying a gift for the world…
Would anyone receive him?
Mary & Joseph carrying God’s son…
Would anyone believe them?
Mary & Joseph found a stable, a cave on a hill.
Mary gave birth to Jesus, while all was still.
Mary & Joseph knew this child was a gift for the world…
Would anyone receive him?
Mary & Joseph adoring God’s son…
Would anyone believe them?
Shepherds watched out on the hill, watched in the night.
Then in darkness, suddenly they saw a great light.
Angels told them of the great gift, a gift for the world.
Would anyone want to receive him?
The shepherds listened, the shepherds heard.
The shepherds believed them.
Off to the stable, shepherds running in the night.
Finding the stable, Mary, Joseph, and Jesus the Light.
Saw the great gift God had given – gift to the world.
The shepherds received him.
Christmas is coming, we remember the night
Jesus was born, God’s gift to us all.
Christmas is coming, a light in our darkness,
God’s gift to the world.
We believe in him. We receive him.
And offer our gifts to the world.
