What we do
For a La Retraite Sister, who she is and how she is with people is her chief ‘tool’. That’s why we take seriously our own life journey with God.
Today, retreat work means helping people in their prayer, human and spiritual development. This happens not only through formal retreats and spiritual direction, but by meeting people in our daily and professional lives.
We meet with individuals and groups from all faiths and walks of life through some of these typical activities :
- retreats
- chaplaincy
- facilitation
- providing places for those
needing time and space in life- pastoral work
- teaching
- health care
- adult formation/education
